If the batch (after you unzipped all to your d2 folder) doesn't work, don't worry you can also just copy&paste; the 1.12 files to your d2...

of course... d2 is so popular and old, many people work on it, there are many many ways...
-easiest is a version changer that only requires 2 clicks
and it can also be done manually with 2 clicks via copy paste
-second is downloading game.exe from battle.net (the old one) and then als downloading the patch 1.12 from there and put it into your directory to install it, make sure that directory is your main diablo2path (I'm not sure if it takes the path or the directory it's in).

ofc just copy paste rename diablo2 for different mods that you do not start with D2SE, it's not like d2 takes alot space. and then you don't need to change and rename files again and again for every mod you play (I have currently 5 mods installed all installed on a different way, ok 2 are d2se, so 4 diablo 2 directories.

That way there is no chance you will ever go online with a mod. D2 is a great game to come back and dive into again, so having this set on my pc and coming back after a year for example is just great and I can really recommend the work as an investion.

yes it is normal the game starts in 640x800. You should also start the game in windowed mode (create a link to your d2multires and start with parameter -w...)

"in game" press ESC and then video -> resolution should be blank, press on it and it will List several resolutions.

If even "in game" you can't change the resolution then you have installed it wrong, however the installation is very easy, so try again.

ps: Only a few mods work with 1.12, I am sure some do, but atm I only found mod: PDM (perfect drop mod).

Hi there is no word about which version this supports...

It is such a great "patch" for modern times, where you are just used to having a bigger screen... It's very unfortunate the creater doesn't play d2 anymore (or comes back sometimes), because then he wouldbe motivated to upgrade it :>

So right now we can only play in a bigger Resolution in one only Patch 1.12... Every mod that doesn't work with 1.12 also needs to be played in that small window again.

Hi, can I play this with Patch 1.12?
Cause I really like D2MultiRes instead of the small window (860*..) or fullscreen pixelgrafics. I'm currently playing a Poison Dagger Necro in another Mod in 1.12 the only downside is there is no Uberlevel later on (as that comes in 1.13c). But I'm looking for a new mod =) MedianXL unfortuately is 1.13c only.

Hi guys - best game experience:
Get to Patch 1.12 for i.e. Version Changer (many easy ways)
Install D2MultiRes (only works for 1.12)
Install PlugY 1.10
and now Install PDM 1.07 (this Mod)
(below is a short summary how to install!)

It works awesomely:
You can play in any resolution like 1650*1050
You can use SharedStash and World Event
You can enjoy this Mod

Drawbacks:
-Atleast for me in Windows7, i have to start in window mode, so use a link...
-In PlugY you have to deactivate 2 options, because they do not work with MultiRes:

Short summary on the install:
-For MultiRes you have to simply copy paste its files into your diablo 2 1.12 directory (use several directories for different mods)
-For PlugY - same: copyPaste and then change one option in the PlugY.ini: DllToLoad=D2MultiRes.dll
-For PDM - same copyPaste the Patch dll
Now you can start with PlugY, I start with a link to PlugY to start in WindowMode:
-Rightclick the link, select properties and then add a -w after the path with a space inbetween of course.

might be because of your game version, I do not know which game version he requires, I tested it with 1.13c and 1.13d and have some problems with craft items,let alone find an antidote

I iam quite new to, but check out the pdf he gave you in the zip there are recipes, and I'm sure you can create grey items from magic or similiar. At least you can make items ethereal and indestructible.

What game version? I tried 1.13c and 1.13d and in 1.13d i do not find any extra craft items, and in 1.13c I only find wierd "unable to remove message filter" names. Additionally all "new" uniques have the name "an evil force"

you need to either change it back to normal or just have 2 diablo2 copies, see comment above..

just copy paste your diablo2 folder, one with mod, the other without, and ofc 2 differnet shortcuts. so if you want to play online you press shortcut "online" and if you want to play a mod you press "pdm"

note that paths are saved in your registry for just one copy, so save still has to be in the original install, alternatively you can make a batch to change the path of course that's possible but not necessary i just felt like sharing it.

you find a link to 8.1 in the "addons" tab. that download works and is playable in 1.10 unlike back to hellfire :(

just get the files for 1.10 and copy paste them.
if you really don't find them I can give you all game versions from 1.07 up to 1.13c whre you literally only have to copy paste.
