I've enjoyed playing this, but on a second run through I have adjusted a few elements to my own taste. These changes do make the game a bit easier, but it also feels more realistic to me. ymmv.
Fixes and tweaks for V1:
⦁ Increased the hit power of all ammunition by 50%
⦁ Upped the hit power of the 9x39 and 7.62x51 weapons - they were abnormally low
⦁ Normalised the hit power of most rifles of the same calibre - never understood why one gun should have such less power than another
⦁ Increased the average condition of dropped weapons - they were firing at you moments ago
⦁ Traders now buy weapons in bad condition
⦁ NPCs may now be carrying ordinary artefacts - if I do, then they should as well
⦁ Corrected the icon for NATO standard round - it's now the same colour as the AP round
⦁ Option*: reduce the immunity to gunfire seen by many creatures - too many were bullet sponges; less true now with increase ammo power
⦁ Option**: cheat to get through the last section - I found the last couple of sections crazy hard to complete
