Yes Valkyr19 I have the black/grey squares you mentioned at the CS base.

Concerning Multiple NPC's -
Tried all nine factions as male only.

Loner - rookie village - Yes multiple named npc's.
Duty - Rostok -Yes two Voronin's.
Freedom - Army Warehouses - Not affected.
Bandit - Dark Valley - Not affected.
Military - Agroprom - Not affected.
Clear Sky - Swamp Base - Not affected
Mercenary - Dead city - Not affected.
Ecologist - Yantar Sakharov's Bunker -No Sakharov 2 out of three tries.
Monolith - Pripyat Cultural Center - Rabbit multiple death messages quests failed, Rabbit nowhere to be seen.

This was only quickly tested btw.

Also, the multiple npc's appear in the top 100 stalker rankings which is expected I guess.

I am also getting the multiple versions of named npc's as mentioned by Qball.
