Nothing much else to say, life got in the way and my interests rotated, covering other stuff like homebrew for a tabletop RPG and even took a crack at making my own game.
I still haven't forgotten about the mod I want to make, it stayed in the back of my mind. Maybe soon I can go back to working on it.
