Check my comment on the summary page for my opinion, but now let's talk positive and negative points in details:

Positive:
+ A good story through the concept of three-dimensional dreams (unique and innovative)
+ Good Soundtracks
+ New and unique monsters (For example, the Puppet is very scary and well thinking)
+ Well built for a first Custom Story (especially for a beginner)

Negative:
- Minor Bug with the mattress in the room where the barricaded door is (if you tend to push it while taking it, it can make the framerate drop, after that it is maybe due to the remastered mod)

Congrats again for your work, because it's a wonderful birthday gift for your friend.

This Custom Story could be a DLC from The Dark Descent, being a big fan of the main story, I can just say one thing "Congratulations for this masterpiece !"

Here is the good and negative points :

Positive :
- A very good ambience like the main campaign
- The Ghoul which seems to be Agrippa (A good idea for the antagonist, who wants a revenge too)
- The original soundtracks that are edited to give a cold atmosphere, as if we were in a decaying body.
- It's a good idea to have taken some places in the main game that were inaccessible and that thanks to this CS, we have the possibility to access them.
- The fact of giving us five endings and many possibilites in this custom story, it's really ingenious ! (because not everyone can get the same endings and some places.)

Negative :
- NOTHING !

Thanks again for this masterpiece, I begun play at Amnesia TDD in 2020, and in 2021 I understood the story and loved it.
And this year in 2022, this custom story has arrived for get the best conclusion for the best protagonist of this franchise "Daniel".

For the people who want a better conclusion for this game, PLAY AT THIS CUSTOM STORY !

It's a good Custom Story, the story is linked to that of Daniel from the main campaign and I liked it, except in the Nave where the room is infested by the Shadow (while Daniel has not betrayed yet Alexander) and the place where is the Church (which is normally where the choir is located).

Otherwise it was a good custom story, I recommand it !

One of my favorite horror games with a good story.

It's a good custom story based on the main campaign of Dark Descent and takes place at the same time as the story of Daniel (the main character of the main campaign).
Here are the positives and negatives.

Good:
- New parts in some of the locations in Brennenburg Castle.
- New unique rooms
- Same atmosphere as in the main campaign

Bad:
- Some inconsistencies (ex: In the Entrance hall, the door to the back hall does not exist).
- This custom story takes place after some of the events in the main campaign (Why do you ask? Because our protagonist "Jonathan" started in the Wine Cellar and since Daniel was already there before (even though it's not canon), it would have been more logical to start this custom story before the main campaign).

Being a big fan of the main story and Brennenburg Castle, I enjoyed revisiting this castle and discovering the new rooms.
