Sorry, nobody on the Maintenance Men team is able to replicate the issue, therefore we're unable to find a fix.

You're right, I uploaded the wrong file, sorry.

You can edit either GMDXUser.ini and look for DeusEx.Human or in game use the command "Set Human bWideRatioMonitor True".

New update out, try setting Human.bWideRatioMonitor to true.

In the original, the game tries to letterbox the cutscenes to make them more cinematic, to do this it tries to draw the game in a 16:9 ratio and then draw the letterbox bars above and below, with the subtitles being displayed on the lower bar. With most modern monitors being 16:9 the bars simply weren't drawn on the monitor at all. To fix this I tried to make the game draw a 20:9 view instead of a 16:9 view, however I guess this is too close to your ratio to display them.
I will see what I can do, perhaps I'll include a variable you can change to make the desired ratio something that will draw them for you.

For the lip syncing, try changing the audio device from OpenAL to Galaxy.

Have you tried using the D3D9 renderer?

Apologies, mistakenly left out some of the files required for the d3d10 renderer, will be included in the next update.
In the meantime, extract these files to your System folder: Puu.sh

Perks were moved to only be available in hardcore mode, however since people have been requesting them, an option to enable them in non-hardcore difficulties will be available in the next version.

Do you get any error message from the crash? Could not replicate the issue on any of my versions.

Apologies, the crosshair was still set to appear upon loading a save mistakenly, this has been fixed for next release.

The low frame rate on Liberty Island is caused by the HDTP tree models, we will attempt to fix this in the next release. In the meantime you can fix this with either the command 'Set Tree bHidden True' or 'GlobalFacelift False' (which will disable HDTP for all models).

GMDX Community Update only requires the base game to be installed, other mods including GMDX v9 are not required.

1. We moved it to hardcore mode, but are considering making it possible to enable in the future via a user setting if demand is high enough.
2. The light augmentation always had a second level in GMDX, however since upgrading it doubles the size while halving the distance, this upgrade will be removed from future versions.
3. This will be fixed in a future version, this was due to an oversight when making perks hardcore only.
4. Damage mods don't exist in the world anymore, therefore will not be acknowledged in the descriptions. Future versions will display the amount of damage mods that can be applied once one has been.
5. UI Scaling only does x1 and x2 for scale. If neither of these work in terms of function, we'd be interested in seeing some screenshots for more detail.
6. Invisible War Toolbelt works after right clicking to equip the item, the only issue is that the highlight currently disappears after a few frames mistakenly.

The version released today has this setting fixed along with some other minor fixes.
