Anyone? Please.

Could someone please make a difficulty mod, so I could change the values for novice to make the game somewhat easier. I like to have fun when playing game not get frustrated. I have tried by using an extractor and and changing the novice values myself, but I get error messages even with starting a new game.

I have a similar issue with adjusting the difficulty settings. After unpacking the .db files and changing the settings the game won't start.
I wish that people who make mods would make more Lost Alpha especially one that has the difficulty settings in it so I could just change them from that mod.

Hi, please help. I need actual help.
I reinstalled the entire Lost Alpha 1.4005 and the gameplay plus weapons pack and I used a .db extractor on the gamedata.db0 file and extracted it to the gamedata folder. I used notepad to change the novice difficulty settings and started the game on novice and after it goes through setting up the game I get a black screen.
Why, and please help.

Is using notepad okay to use to open the .db files?
Right click on the .db file click on open with notepad.

That's not an option in the choices on what to open the file with. How do I get that? Download it off of the internet somewhere?

Just the one that comes with windows 10.

What db.files?

So after I installed the dlc I don't it anymore?

I am guessing that the Autumn dlc is less grass and not as colorful?

What is the IsMd5.md5 for?

Is there a mod for Lost Alpha that changed that allows for difficulty changes for these settings below?

This isnt my first S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game as I have played them all, but Lost Alpha even on novice is much harder than all the other games on harder difficulty.
So what mods work in Lost Alpha, SoC or CoP modx or is there a mod already made to lower the difficulty.

Is there a way to lower the difficulty? I am playing on novice, andI getting my butt kicked in areas where there are many enemies. I remember a mod that I could manually lower the difficulty even more, but I forget the which one. I want to play and enjoy this game, and not get frustrated.

No improvement in fps for me. I was getting average 50fps on this new version and the previous one. I was hoping for better performance and more fps, but oh well Lost Alpha is awesome no matter what.

How do I change then weight in my inventory? I forgot how do it as it has been a few months since I did it last time. Thanks.

The only issue I have is in the Game options the Crosshair type will not change to dot. It only stays as a circle with dot which is the default. I would like to use the dot only if possible. Thanks for any help.

Windows Defender gave me trojan virus warnings with part 1. I had to put that file under an exception in Windows Defender to not scan it to be able to run it. I scanned it with avg and the file was fine of course.
The only other issue I had was how to figure out how to use the installer, because it only has ????????? for everything.
Downloading it now, and so far everything seems okay.

I am really excited, and this is soo awesome!
Thanks Dezodor and all the developers for releasing this just in time for christmas. This is now a great christmas for me.

That's too bad, as I was looking forward to it. I took four days off including christmas in hopes of playing this, but I guess I will be playing something while I wait.

Playing this with the new patch/updata on christmas day would make my day a good one, because otherwise it's just another day just like every other day. I'm not a kid anymore and I don't have any kids, so this would make me happy.
Devs you guys are awesome for makimg this the best mod(standalone) for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. ever.

So when is the new directors cut patch 1.4003 coming out, or has it already and just not listed here on moddb? If it's soon, then please say about when. Thanks.

Lost Alpha is just awesome, and the developer's cut is soo awesomer!
Soo awesomer may not be a word, but who cares because it's true. ;)

About when is that update? I am waiting for it to play Lost Alpha again as the director's cut this time. Can't wait! :)
