Soon, perhaps. You can probably guess many of the faction-religion matchups already. :)

Italians face off with Byzantines in the Savannahs of Africa.. Very important historical battle.

Be sure to take a look at some of the new images we've posted. A sizable news post is currently being approved too, so keep an eye out for it within the next day!

This screen's actually from a fairly early version of K&B, but all these units still lurk within the mod.

No worries, we're still going! Check the K&B thread every Friday for Friday Updates. We also post on moddb, but there's a bit of a delay since they have to verify the content posted here.

I have to say, I'm incredibly impressed by the story that drives Dear Esther. If I come across a game like this again, I will be incredibly entertained. Thanks.

Thanks for your comments. The development team is somewhat regulated, but each person can, for the most part, focus on a specific thing as long as they report it and show progress. When we completely finish the designs in the near future, the amount of progress should increase as the team does something like work on each faction at a time.

Stages, more or less, are how we plan to release. You'll probably see things released two at a time in different ways. The released content may be anything from factions to minor civilizations.

An example of this would be releasing two traditional enemies, the Spanish and the Moors, and then releasing the appropriate Random Map Scripts and modded terrain.

We expect to be releasing content in the coming months -this summer- and making more of the total conversion available at regular intervals from then on.

The randomization doesn't allow for having a unit composed from several sets of equipment, but it does allow for choosing from many different units. So, we make as many combinations of sets into units as possible and have those chosen from randomly. Different process, same end result.
