I have a question to anyone who can be of help, regarding the library folder/installation path for steam users. First time downloading this mod, watched a couple playthroughs on youtube and fell in love with it! Got medieval on steam just for this. But first, in order to avoid people recommending stuff I've already tried or misunderstanding my problem, bare with me as I explain the little I already know or did.
So I began following the installation guide as stated above in the summary. Seems very clear indeed. Only got to the point where apparently I need to install M2TW outside the usual default steam path (Program files/steam... etc). My whole steam installation though is already outside the program files, including the library of course. Now the library can't be moved to the same drive (and I don't have a second one), as steam no longer permits it. I read online that I can add a new library on the same drive by using a text file in the steam apps (adding a line), but that's been f**... I mean "fixed" too by steam apparently and the lines don't show anymore (not even the default folder "1" "....."). With my limited knowledge on such things, unfortunately that leaves me with no choice than to leave it as is. At least for now.
So the question is, do i have to have my game outside the STEAM FOLDER and into a new library regardless of where steam is installed? OR is it enough that it's outside the PROGRAM FILES while being inside the steam folder? My whole steam folder atm is in C:/Games. I put it there cause it seems the lenght of the path plays a role somehow. Will I be okay, or do I need to do anything else?
Thanks in advance to anyone replying! :)
