I got through echoes12 by tuning down my trigger-happy saving, and upon entering echoes13 my save file went down to 155kb, and the "save bloating" effect stopped (I can save again and again, it stays at 155kb). So definitely something going on with echoes12 :)

It seems there's some sort of memory leak in echoes12, as save files within that map gets more and more bloated with each new save.

When I first get to the map, my save file is around 400kb. Every time I save (even while standing at the beginning doing nothing), it gets bigger by around 2-4kb. Then when it gets to the ~1.050kb mark, attempting to save again will crash the game. Since there are autosaves, it means that if you save too often during the map, you won't be able to complete it and will need to restart it.

I'm able to reproduce the issue even when starting from an echoes11 save. The save file bloat does not happen on echoes11, and it begins immediately as soon as I get to echoes12.

I'm starting the game through the Steam shortcut, even added the "-num_edicts 2048" launch option, to no avail. And nothing is printed in the console during the saving process.

In any case, I'm loving the mod so far - great work! I can't wait to progress further in the game and see what's next :)
