Hi I'm Frosturation. If you don't what that means, I always stay 'frost' when dealing with frustration :) I am currently really busy right now, I am not able to make any requests. Have any questions about BF2 modding? Don't hesitate to contact me via PM.
Model and textures from Rising Storm 2
Gotta busy with endless homework and memorizing shitfest or aka "school". Aslo special thanks to Anthony817 for providing me model and textures!
Good model&texture;, I like it!
I am glad that you like it!
Excellent! Looking beautiful! Are you also able to find a good select fire animation for it? I think that the original animations we have didn't have the select fire switch working. Perhaps the one from the m1928 might work for it?
Ah yes! I forgot the weapon aslo fire automatically. I will made it by myself. Using other select fire animation from different models would be awkward.
Ok even better then! Yeah I wanted both the standard M1 Carbine and the M2 from RS2 to use in BFKorea and at least late war maps in BF1944. Those rear sights were pretty different from the regular ones. Also if I recall correctly that it was used in the Pacific. I don't know that it was used really in France or Germany, although it says here it was introduced in 1944.

In Korea my grandfather used the M1 Carbine and the B.A.R., but never used the M2 from what I understand. Guessing they weren't as common by then as the M1 was. Although many M1's became M2's with a conversion kit.
They also made an M3 Carbine which was a "Night Vision" variant during the Korean war.

It used "Night Vision" like the experimental German StG 44 Zielgerät ZG 1229 Vampir which saw combat in WW2.

So the M3 carbine is just M2 Carbine with night vision?
And wow man I really respect and appreciate your grandfather service in Korea! I guess that's made you so intrested in battlefield korea mod.
Thanks, and yes. It was the only war my grandfather was involved in, he was too young for WW2 and was 18 when he went to Korea in 1950. He got honorably discharged before the Vietnam War or he very well could have go there though. So it does mean a lot to me yeah.
And yeah, pretty much but from what I understand they had M1 and M2's used to make the M3, so some could be fired automatically.
Nice model. But then again, RS2 does have some beautiful models in game.
Man, i find pretty much all of the models in game beautiful.
To be honest, I never expect the model would look that good in BF2 engine
