Oh man! I always wanted a version without a scope, just because the Springfield never gets much love without a sniper scope in games. It was based off of the Mauser design, so it is a great bolt action rifle in regular combat just like the Gewehr 88/93/98/Kar 98. Super similar rifle, and will be great to have it in the game! Thanks again!
During the Spanish-American war of 1898, American forces lost dramatically to Spanish forces fielding the M1893 Mauser, and thus it was determined the Mauser design was better. So the Americans captured those rifles and built this based on that gun.
So you might be using this for BFK and BF1944? Nice!

This is going to kick so much *** when using the rifle as the South Koreans. That 30.06 is a damn deadly rifle cartridge used in the M1 Garand, B.A.R. and M1919.
