I may still make a variant, if enough people want it and Jlea allows me.. It would have to be jailbroken though and running whatever fictional OS will be running on the Desire, due to the fact it would take so much unnecessary work on reskinning the VGUI.

I was thing the Nexus One, purely because it wouldn't show favouritism to a particular handset (it's the google phone), but, like I said.. I have the HTC Desire and that makes all the difference when you are modelling something.

Technically he's right (JLea) he said speed not time... Increased speed, means less time :P

To be honest I'm not 100% sure, however like you said it is expensive (around $700) and every reference picture has suggested it is metal. Even if it's not though, metal still looks more interesting than plastic, don't you think? :P
