Welcome to my profile. I'm an independent DE-EN-ES translator who just finished an online degree in videogame localization and I'm now trying to get a foothold in the game sector. Aside from the projects done in the course of that degree, I mainly have experience translating different types of texts (adminitrative, legal, marketing) and three short novels on babelcube. If you're interested in having your game or mod localized from either german, english or spanish into any of these languages, I'd be glad to help. I don't know where all the hate from other mebers of this site is coming from, so i guess I've got a good chance to keep this review objetive.
This mod is allright, with a chance to be great. I realize it's still a WIP so here are a two things I'd like to see in future versions:
-A bit more landscape. I've been to the USA, but I'm pretty sure it's no so flat.
-Some polishing on textures and balancing of units.
So, after a while of sticking to HW2, I decided to check out the avialable mods for Sins, and stumbled upon this jewel.
Well-made models, diferentiated factions and what I like the most is the way the ships move in battle. It makes every little skirmish look like something from the movies or series.
Beauifully designed ships, factions with different playstiles and tech-trees, all in all a well-rounded mod. Although I have to agree with some of the other reviewers about some of the OP ships needing to balanced and that sometimes it get ridiculos seeing the AI warp in wave after wave, after wave... of ships, even when it can't possibly have the RUs for that. I know this is necessary to compensate for the lack of intelligence of the AI, but still. Anyways with the right strategy even that can be beaten, and I am looking forward to the next release and its translation.
