its not the part where you first talk to the merchent but the part where you return to the merchent after getting guys and rescuing the brother
i honestly cant remeber the exact combination of things since i abuse export/import so much but i at least do remember having anything but normal guys or blood guys with me at the time

is there a write up somewhere with upgrade paths and what each unit does?
like the difference between the 2 inner world paths

i think the ones where i tried before giving up on it were magic magic bloodsucker and
magic magic university student

as far as i can tell it happens every time in revedin
ill admit i havent tried every background/magicing combination

eh? for the people who don't cheat like me i think the 500 or so gold you get from it is pretty helpful
also is there a discord that we can talk about mod features, balance and character builds and such?

so theres an issue with the starting quest thats a bit of a problem
after the raid on the town there is sometimes a unit that gets in the way of talking to the merchent causing the player to become stuck
