if you have something like this again
after crash look for
xray_......log in
\Anomaly-1.5.0-RC15\appdata\logs
and scroll to the end
there should be something with fatal error and what caused it then you can remove it or fix it

btw if you want to update mods
you can get the vanilla files from the new version by executing
db_unpacker_all.bat in
\Anomaly-1.5.0-RC15\tools
after this they are inside here:
\Anomaly-1.5.0-RC15\tools\_unpacked
than you just look what changed in your editor and try to update it
