Trying out the minimods for E4X, and so far the mod itself plus the minimods have been great.
A nitpick though: the "Disable Heroes" minimod doesn't remove the hero build structure that comes with E4X. It would be nice if the mod also removed the associated structure as well so that the hero system would be completely removed from the game.
