Which will mean no more tightrope walking for us noclippers! lol

I know Eya said that she will turn the cables from geometry into props in the next update.
So when your computer is mapping, does that use up most of your CPU and drop the framerate for any other tasks, OR - did you reimplement slow motion??? :-)
So it's like first you created the canvas of this world, and now you're painting it!
Bortz changed a bit. In 2011 he spoke to Myo as if he was an estranged distant relative who wanted the best for her but really didn’t understand anything about her at all. In the Steam release he seems more like that doctor from Beyond the Black Rainbow but with a much bigger budget. Steam Bortz has his cybernetic implants, the doctor has his vat of black goo (AI nanotech I bet).
I think Eya made two games - G String and Half-Life 3. Fantastic work!
This was published back in October, but I just found it now.
Nice animated welcome banner!
Ooh, and nice animated avatar as well!
lol
The 2011 mod and 2013 mod are free, the full game and soundtrack are available for purchase on Steam. The .pdf manual for the full game is free! The mods have no manuals, only playthroughs on youtube.
All the links are several dozen centimeters above this comments section.
I think HL1 taught me to look up due to barnacles and Akira elevators with raining headcrabs.
Just look up aaaaall the time to make sure you have a roof, and be glad that there's no hurricane going on at the same time! lol
Cool idea. Maybe Riley could transmit the data for the hacking program through Myo's suit or contact lenses somehow? And the reskinned weapon could perform similarly to that hacking stick that Alyx uses.
He is a Hacktivist...
Release date is 11:11 2020...
Anyone remember playing Sim City 2000 back in the day and trying to decide whether or not to build a Plymouth Arcology?
Pick from 3 models: tsundere, gothic, and yandere. Hmm...
Do you want to make a mug, a cup, a glass? If you have to order them in large batches, maybe you should wait, I only want one!
This makes me wonder if the Mars chapter happens BEFORE all of those other interesting events from the Beta occur. I mean, I'm guessing that Day Two would have started on Mars. Makes me wonder how Myo kept herself occupied during the several month long voyage?
It could have been worse. No one held me at knifepoint, and Frank didn't show up ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
You spent a lot more time down there than these guys did I bet!
Probably the real reason they wanted to leave so fast was so they didn't have to hear "Stayyy a little longerrr... It's so lonely down here... Stayyy a little longerrr..."
Does that mean that its badass? ******* awesome? Or both simultaneously?
One time I tried hiding in a library after hours because I didn't want to stop studying. It worked! Then the cops came. I hid in a coat closet until they finished doing their sweep, and then I left. I got away with it! Barely.
Anyway, if I had an audio recorder with me at the time, I bet I could have gotten some good boot footsteps and handheld transceiver effects.
How many of your sounds came from the environment, and how many are digital files that you found somewhere and then edited?
Somehow I keep giggling at the thought of you walking down a street at 3am, making sure that no one is looking, and then prying open a manhole so you can enter the sewers and record the sound of leaky pipes dripping inside of a storm drain!
If you did do that, that is totally awesome.
Oh hey, the link to the right still goes to the old version of Beauty Secrets. If you want the updated version (112 pages instead of 111), go to this link. Its the same link as the "view the quick reference" page on Steam:
Oh hey, I just realized:

Man, I learn something new everyday!
The way I see it - people like yourself gave birth to the entire PC gaming industry back in the 1990s and early 2000s. If that creative source is not good enough anymore for some reason, and if it doesn't work out for you somehow, how can that be your fault when you have made so many things?
Don't worry Eya, the right thing is to live without regrets :-) As in, to do everything you want to do, even though it seems impossible.
This is extremely minor, but something I just remembered. Anyone here have memories of avoiding an ammo pack or a weapon lying on the ground in the original Half-Life whenever the amount of ammo that you were carrying was 1 less than maximum capacity, because you knew that once you picked it up you would gain 1 bullet while the other 49 magically were erased from existence?
In Half-Life 2 they solved this problem for weapons ONLY - somehow it persists for the ammo packs. I have no idea why.
Anyway, if Eya figured out how to eliminate this problem, all the more fantastic! It always just seemed like lazy programming to me on Valve's part. I have no idea how difficult it would be to reprogram something like that, especially on short notice.
Its kind of dark, but it looks like stuff in the room is floating!
I'm very impressed with the first person interactive hand animations. Of course HL2 didn't have any because they are difficult to pull off. The first time I ever saw one was Booker DeWitt punching very large brass elevator buttons in BioShock Infinite, and then like 2 years later Eya has expanded on the same concept in the Sept 2015 update video. I kind of forgot all about that until I saw more of the same in the new gameplay video on Steam. Great work Eya! The ironic thing is that if anyone could turn a valve without using their hands, it would be Myo.
