Can you give some more info? Make sure to follow the steps properly and check out the troubleshooting section. There are also videos on YouTube showing how to install the mod.

Employee8 - - 78 comments @ Entropy : Zero - Uprising - 4 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!

Slight correction here (this was phrased badly in the article): the Steam release is planned for when all the episodes are out and will combine them all into one game

I was planning on doing that, but I'm not sure if I'll get around to it now

It's definitely not the mod. Such a scope does not exist in Uprising. It sounds like you activated something in some sort of overlay on accident. Maybe with your gpu application, your monitor or in your OS?

That's likely a problem with either your installation or your hardware.

You can try to fix it by restarting the game.
If that didn't work, do the following steps:
Firstly, verify the integrity of your Entropy : Zero Steam installation.
If that didn't work, try updating your graphics driver.
And if all else fails, tweak the graphics settings and see if anything changes

Yes, the game has English subtitles which you can enable in the options. If your game is not in the English language, you might have to enter cc_lang "english" into the console. Alternatively, you can get one of the user-created translation files, if your native language is supported

Thank you for bringing this to our attention! We already know why the first one happens, but are currently still investigating the second one

What are we supposed to do about it? Make sure to carefully read through the troubleshooting section and verify that your mod installation is set up correctly

Everything seems to be in order, I assume you have checked the contents of the Uprising folder? What is in that folder?

Also, why is your Steam folder called SteamLibrary? If you have ruled out every other possible solution, then please investigate that, as I don't think I've ever seen that before

Those are probably projected textures. Set your shadow quality to high if you can, as they will appear broken on lower settings.

Thanks! It will be a sourcemod. The workshop is too limiting for the scope we have in mind

Employee8 - - 78 comments @ Entropy : Zero - Uprising Episode 2 - Progress Update

This isn't planned currently, as Episode 2 runs on EZ2 while Episode 1 doesn't. Porting them to the same sourcemod would require a lot of work. There might be a definitive release later down the line which does exactly this, though. We'll see.

Thanks :) I apologise for my previous response, but you have to understand how often we have seen the attitude that we "should *just* put it on Steam" or people not getting their download to work because they aren't properly reading the download steps/troubleshooting section. It can become very frustrating to see.

First of all, what's with the attitude?
Second of all, can you be a bit more specific with your issue? Saying it doesn't work helps no one.
Third of all, the install instructions and the troubleshooting section in the description cover every possible way installation can go wrong. Please READ THOSE CAREFULLY and then also FOLLOW THE STEPS. AND FOLLOW THEM PROPERLY. READ IT. WORD FOR WORD. DO NOT SKIM.

Sorry, I must have missed it.
Bloody Cop should be:
ent_create npc_bec additionalequipment weapon_smg1 responsecontext "classname:npc_bloody_cop" targetname "BloodyCop"; ent_fire BloodyCop skin 4

Traitor Cop should be:
ent_create npc_metropolice betrayedcombine 1 additionalequipment weapon_smg1 responsecontext "classname:npc_traitorcop"

Traitor Lead Cop is:
ent_create npc_metropolice additionalequipment weapon_smg2 responsecontext "classname:npc_traitorlead" targetname "TraitorLead" model "models/police_female.mdl" betrayedcombine 1; ent_fire TraitorLead skin 9

Note that these NPCs often rely on other map entities and that I have not included keyvalues for dynamic interactions or grenades. The TraitorLead also does not actually use the betrayedcombine keyvalue, but instead relies on ai_relationships in her appearance. They might not work as well as they do in the campaign!

What where you installing? The mod isn't using an installer.

It's a limitation of there only being support for the English language by default. Type in cc_lang "English" in the console. This will set the game to English and should display all subtitles accordingly.

1. Uprising's first episode happens in between Half-Life 2's chapter "Entanglement" and "Anticitizen 101", so in between EZ1 and EZ2. Bec intentionally appears in EZ2, and 3650 is also briefly mentioned in Uprising, meaning these mods are connected with each other.

2. Episode 2 is currently starting development. We're refining the story with some outside help and have started with the mapping process.

Could you provide more info? I've explained how to set up E:Z-U hammer to another modder down below. If you need help with your compile log, you can always paste it onto Interlopers.net and see what it tells you. I would assume your build programs are set up incorrectly/are faulty. Make sure to use Mapbase's compilers.

If you are not using 7zip, you might run into Error 0x80004005 while extracting the file.
This is mentioned in the installation instructions, please read them carefully.

This is a mod for Entropy : Zero. You need to have Entropy : Zero installed on Steam, not Half-Life 2.
Also, please just launch the game through Steam. Don't use the command line if you don't know what you're doing
