Open run and type %appdata% then go to local/program/rise of mordor, the ROM launcher should be in there. you are running the autoupdater.exe. Alternatively if you cannot find the EXE that way do this: Go to This pc and in the search bar type rise of mordor, a folder should pop up with the ROM Launcher.exe inside.

Yes, from Battle for Middle Earth (the same ones Reforged used). It is in the future, however.

Thank you Jeff! I really appreciate it! Over the last year we have really tried to enhance our communication standards and use those to get our mod more known around the LOTR community, as well as solve those pesky doubts about the campaign.

In the end it is indeed the team's choice whether to be transparent or not. It can brings benefits as well as issues, such as even more pressures on the team as the community around the mod expands.

The file is a .rar. What you are seeing is just a different icon, meaning that at some point you changed the reader of .rar or .zip files to Media Player (?). It is weird, but check if that's the issue.

You just need EITHER the Rise of Mordor Launcher OR the mod file from the LATEST update. In any case, there's a guide under the changelog article.

Be careful of submods' compatibility with the latest updates. We suggest not using them for now.

Verify integrity of the files of Attila (right click on it on Steam), then try again. Remember not to activate any other submod.

If you’re using the launcher: Solution: need to go to the path below and manually select the EXE file.
C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Programs\Rise of Mordor Launcher

REMEMBER: you EITHER use the launcher OR the Data folder in Attila and then the Mod Manager.

If you’re using the Attila Mod Manager: DO NOT use any submods, only the 4 main packs. If you need further assistance join the Discord, it’s easier to help there.

1: Steam Error but steam is opened
- Make sure Attila is installed through steam
- Ensure Firewall is not blocking launcher connection

It seems like you're missing the models pack from the update.

1) If you launch from Attila Mod Manager you have to activate 4 packs in this order: main, models, buildings weather. They are ALL in the .rar you can download here.
2) If you launch from the Rise of Mordor launcher, everything should be there already. I recommend you download the latest version of the launcher and uninstall all previous ones. Then download from the launcher again (if it stops after the "Looking for launcher updates" tab, you need to go to the path below and manually select the EXE file.
C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Programs\Rise of Mordor Launcher).

Remember, it's EITHER of these two. You either download the normal file and extract it in Data OR you use the Rise of Mordor launcher. For further assistance join our Discord.

You should either use the launcher or the Attila mod manager. Remember NOT to add any submods, just use the ones downloaded here in this order (this is for the Attila mod manager): main, models, buildings, weather. Are you using the launcher or the Attila mod manager? If it’s the latter, you probably put the files in the wrong folder (it should be ‘Data’). Join our Discord if you need further assistance.

We added an auto-updater to the launcher and we fixed some bugs.
