You have to delete your current version and install the new one. I think I gave setup instructions with the download though, so if you check those there might be something in there about updating to newer versions :)
UPDATE: Replaced all with NATO counters.
There are some events which won't happen 95% of the time, but when they do they change the dynamics of the game massively. As for documentation, no I haven't documented them sorry!
You can read in the event directory though to extract any events you may be interested in learning about. It shouldn't be too hard to understand, I commented on them all so people who create sub-mods can understand what I've done :D

Make sure you have A Heart of Darkness V 3.03, otherwise this will crash when you select a country.

If you go into the games directory and go into music you will find all of the music there. However, I haven't put names to them all yet but I might do eventually :)
There's not a lot more I can do with The Ottoman Empire, they do gain some land as you've probably seen and they also will in the coming update (I give them some more), but other than that there isn't a massive amount I can do for the Ottomans in terms of their territorial integrity other than giving them events and such.
I don't have time to update it at the moment. I have a moderate amount of content that is unreleased, but I have to sit my exams atm before I can do any more significant work on it. And also, considering a lot of people seem to disregard the fact this is a beta product, I might just create a ton of content, release it, then call it quits.
But don't get me wrong, ofc the mod isn't amazing in its current state and criticism is welcome! But, yeah, it might be a while for anyone who still cares :P

Some people need to realise these things are in beta like my mod! Though sadly due to the HUGE ambition of this mod I feel it will take a very, very long time to balance it all. Depends how my of you are working on it I guess.
Nevertheless, I still like the concept and will be following it closely. It beats my own mod, Kaiserreich, by a power of ten anyway :P

However, I've mainly been working on a massive new game mechanic which I'll probably discuss shortly in a dev update! It's something I've always wanted in a mod along with many others too I think, and I aim to push what you can do with Victoria II to the very limit for this.
(And no, it's not nuclear weapons, but nuclear weapons are on the way in the near future).
Makes sense then to some extent :P The Americans would have lost the independence war without French, Dutch and Spanish help. I guess there should be events where they can intervene.

Did you try deleting the one in the Victoria II/maps whatever directory as well as the documents/Paradox Interactive thing?
I don't know why some people get it to work and some don't, I thought the instructions I provided in the download covered all avenues of potential problems, I guess not though :(
Make sure you get the flag cache as well, and if you had a previous version of Kaiserreich installed, make sure you delete the Paradox Interactive/Victoria II/Kaiserreich thing. And finally, if all else fails, ensure your vanilla installion is correct I guess. A lot of the content in Kaiserreich as with most mods is read from vanilla files, so there could be an issue there.
Aye, Eastern Roman vs Western Roman Empires, they can co exist as they did historically. But Greece is so weak in Kaiserreich, they will most likely never form it, but it's better do have potential content there than no content at all.
Yeah, i'll re add the decision for Greece to form the Byzantine Empire, and play around with it a bit creating some unique events for the Byzantines as well as The Roman Empire.

Yep, units/eco/buildings the hardest to balance. The world economy is quite messed up for the first few years, but eventually it will fix and regulate itself, like on vanilla Vic II.
For anyone wondering where the download is, I re uploaded the file under the same thing to fix one of the Cold War USA events, so an admin has to verify it again.
Check back soon, it should be there!

Hmm... try looking for a flag cache in
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Victoria 2\map
... and delete that. Or look in:
C:\Users\User\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Victoria II
and delete everything except the Kaiserreich folder AND your save games folder, so you don't lose them for your vanilla Victoria II :)
Doing one of those things should fix it for you.
Whops, there was a slight bug with one of the USA's events firing at the start of the game - I've re uploaded it under the same file instead of in the soon coming patch, so yeah.
Remember to delete both your map AND flag cache
