And they fixed it.
We seem to be having a problem with the Fanwiki. It says there's some sort of internal error. Long and short of it is, I cant access it.
Yup. The error message seems to suggest that the wiki crashed again...Ugh.
Anyone know why three of the maps cause the game to crash when you try to use them?
The lore on the web site had some lame explanation, something about walkers being too expensive, hovercrafts too maintenence intensive, and had no explanation about missing the subterra units. They do seem to be getting the idea with 4, though. They have multiple subterra units, and they brought back the walkers. It might fail, but I'm personally hoping that a herd of Mastodon Walkers will make up for the less-than stellar previous episodes, or the likely-to-be-crappy storyline
Yea, tragic, but I really don't think EA would part with any C&C franchise that easily. Anyhow, Uprising was kind of a letdown, but that aside, I'd say that EA is actually doing ok with the Red Alert and Tiberium Storylines/Franchises.
Clockwork Moon: a tale of steam-powered space exploration and conflict!
Westwood started out like this, i think. A couple guys, a couple computers, and a dream. I have visions of buying Infinity Realms RTSs in the not too distant future!
It's called GOOP. it slows down whatever unit it's squirted on. Think giant hose that squirts glue.
I Got It! Is it possible to code the vehicle so the van sends people flying rather than crushing them? Great idea, P.L.
Hmm, 20 ton metal truck, 150-300 pound humans, maybe at 15-20 miles per hour you get crushing speed. maybe at 5 miles an hour it would work...
That's really creepy, PsychoticLoner. It's supposed to Suppress rioters, not kill them.
It plows through goop with the plow. The plow was the dev team's idea. Makes sense, what with the GOOP.
You guys used my suggestion! Sweet! I thought an allied riot van would be cool.
Sounds like the theme for dr.-who.
You guys (dev. team) consider doing something with the melody of "its a gift to be simple" in it? it might work really well for the confederates.
Cool. It's got evil futuristic Italian written all over it.
Nice. I haven't seen the seismic resonance thing outside of Tesla's work or commentaries on it.
