SWAT: Elite Force

Mod review

A perfect mod for a perfect game . It ads new weapons , it adds new commands to make our teammates more useful , it added bulk and weight which limits the equipment , it adds 3 packs for grenades and wedges and many kinds of armor and helmets . I am happy to see that the devs still works on it so I will give my 50 cents what should be given and upgraded .
Weapons
Weapons I think would be perfect to see are normal AK-74 , FN Fal precision rifle IMBEL IA2 rifle,SPAS shotgun , SVD rifle for snipers , Scorpion and mp7 submachine guns
Equipment
Combat first aid kit - We should receive an combat first aid for injured civvies . I mean , in real life they would require first aid to survive somehow .
Medkit for us - We should carry a medkit to heal one particular part like in Deus ex but it should depend on size and weight of it .
Accesories -Nightvision , silencers , scopes and so on should count as accesories . It is possible to mount them and unmount . In Rainbow Six 3 we had always had nightvision regardless or armor . In real life it is also possible to carry an NG and helmet . We should give a possibility to mount accesories to our choosing to weapons and armor alike .
New members - Why we have no ladies in our squad ? We could always use some badass lady or an resourceful medic , and a dog to make things interesting ?
Evidence
Evidence in SWAT shouldn't only be drugs and weapons , but also documents , money , computers , downolanding data fron server etc. It is a pain in the *** , but policeman job is never an easy one in both game and real life
Gameplay
Snipers - Snipers are badly made in SWAT 4 . I mean suspect taking more than one sniper shot and still being able to run is a joke . Snipers are always armed for one shot- one kill equipment and same must be done here . Moreover , we also should get an possibility to arm our snipers and
Darker and scarier missions - Fairfax and Children of Taronne Street were awesome because of their horror like climate and constant sense of danger , and in case of latter a tragedy that can happenen in real life . You should make more missions like this when we deal not just with ruthless criminals , but corrupted officials , traitor policemen and that we will have to put an end to their nefarious deeds , assuming we won't come too late like in Taronne .
Plot - Now that would be a nice turn of events . Just like in SWAT 3 we would have to save Fairview from utter chaos IE. a more developed version of TSS plot , but more darker , scarier , and twisted . That our dear SWAT has to face everything worst Fairview underworld has to offer and you truly feel besieged as they are close for Fairview takeover and everywhere there is a curtain of lies and deception ? That is only a beginnig for a plot ?
I am happy that SWAT Elite Force is still going and I hope it will make this great game even bigger and better :D

Rise of the Reds

Mod review

All right . I played a little with this mod . And I must say that I am very pleased to see that Generals modding community is still alive . The mod is a decent piece of job but there are flaws and mistakes . First of all , why did you remove the navy ? One of the things which always annoyed me in strategy games was disregard of navy . I always wondered why the navy was one of the most disregarded military force in gaming . Creators usually don't care about it , or they care too little . In my eyes Generals would be even more attractive if we could fight navy battles only , or combined of land sea and air all together which would make the game awesome . Every faction should have their own set of of ships between 5 and 8 . Battleship won't do , because they have been outmatched by carriers and far range rocket ships . Other one , Russia should have far more powerful airforce . The Russia and former USSR were and are known from creation of one of the best and unique planes of our times ery often surpassing western machines in terms of resistance to climatic conditions, innovation, efficiency, reliability, and price. The russians are still one of the greatest air powers and giving them only two or three planes from airfield makes me laugh . The same is with hellicopters . The plot in my eyes is corny and trite . I am sick of the same cliche all over the time that russians are always bad guys no matter what the situation , the same dumb belief that US will always cover EU ***** , that Eu and Russia are WEF (Worst Enemies Forever ) and EU and USA are BBFs and more . Other one , why US has some special type of units (drones) and other factions have none ? Every faction must have something special to spice up the events . The last one are maps . Maps in 1.80 and patch 1.82 were far better than in later versions . Why did you scrapped them I wonder .
Now for conclusion . The devs are using patterns which are worn out trite and annoying which spoils the mod . The mod is not bad . Adding two new factions whichwe almost want to see is already a great achievement and adding much more is also a great things . But you use patterns which will bring nothing more than a harm if you continue . THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX . No one orders you to use those patters and cliches , every artist makes his own pattern cannon and fiction and artist always can give a **** what other thinks . For now I will give you 7 but if you change they way of thinking and stop holding the bad patterns and correct the mistakes and cons , then I will be more than glad to give you a 10 or more :) Don't screw this up we all count on you
