yes it does try re instaling it with only the 3.0 files in the mod mapp

i got that allot to make sure when you put the 3.0 files in the mod mapp it is empty and you dont need to replace teh 2.0 files.

do you have the game on steam?
if u do u here is how i install mods for mw2k mods
i make a mapp and extract the mods in to it,
then i go steam/steamapps/common/medieval total war/mods
and i go to one of the kingdoms expantions crusades, i copie the files in there and make an other map so if i ever want to play crusades i can, then i take the files that i zipped, u need to make sure that u dont take the map where the files ar in but the files alone or else it wont work.
so it will look like this pettykings/pettykings2 and then the files that are in there u copie and put in to steam/steamapps/common/medieval total war/mods/crusaders (make sure the crusaders map is empty before u put the petty kings files in there

and u launch the crusader mod and enjoy your game
