for me the most important thing would be a smaller techtree with more expensive techs. At the moment there are far too many small techs like +5% aiming...if you could combine the techs more, the games would be faster (important in mp)...as an example for a social tech "Hutt Economy" grants 100% on trade, -25% tax, -10% max moral. Or "Galactic Empire" grants 75% on tax, 10% trade, -20% moral and max moral. Something like this...the techs would be more expensive so you have to choose wisely what you spent you rp on.

I guess the auto terraforming ist not really a bug, in HGM the different species have different planettypes for terraform-optimum...maybe these are just not changed at 1.0 so far.
Also the researchlist is scrollable! simply click on the tech and scroll down by arrow-key.

the ships are available form the beginning because of testing issues I guess.
Fighters are a performancekiller...thats why the stacks are so small.
There were many more ships in the unstable versions of VP, I think Arachno or Dirt will add them if they dont make the game unstable again.

You can build a researchcenter to get more RP or use Recyclers.
But in general I would prefere a changed techtree instead of changed RP :)

i think i should buy all the remaining copys of HGM :D

I downloaded v 0.96a by torrent...i installed my HGM Solon and used my own key...the HGM works so far...I extracted VP...and started it but it stops at the start with a black screen. Any Idea how this can be fixed? dirtbag, do you have an upgrad for v 0.95...this at least started without problems.

There seems to be a crash-bug with an ntdll.dll File...It happens in Skirmishmode after ca. 15mins...I have autosave disabled, Heroes turned off and I have deleted the musicfiles (not the folders).
will or can it be fixed in the next version?
