Thanks for your comments! I believe that because of the way RavenShield's depth buffer works you can only get the weapon or environment, so ive decided to go with the weapon as it gives the DoF effect and the environment AO will draw on top of the weapon if you do it that way. Hope this helps!

DX8 converter: Reshade.me

did you use the dx8 converter? this is essential to getting reshade to work. also remember to setup reshade as a dx9 game when you set it up. lemme know if this helps!

I followed this guide (except for installing the AI and particle mods). this package is just the reshade shader preset for DoF, colour adjustment etc.

lemme see if i can grab a screenie for you, i noticed this too and only use it on the gun for the DoF sweetness. a bit unfortunate but i think worth it.

Im gonna ask the stupid question - what is mastereffect? If its not another reshade preset then it should be fine, this is just a reshade preset and so shouldnt clash with anything!

EDIT: I just looked it up, this is pretty much the same thing except i dont use the entire mastereffect suite and instead use shaders that you can download right out of reshade.

Also mastereffect appears to be quite old, the qUINT shaders i use for DoF and bloom are by the same person but newer - Reshade.me

Shameless plug for my shader preset, i think this handles weapon DoF better than presets ive seen, adds eye adaptation for some dynamic exposure adjustment when moving between light and dark, along with some other subtle changes. would love to get peoples opinion on this, thanks!
