Description

A more filmic look with a LUT and some natural bloom while not taking away too much from the original colours. Also added some Eye Adaptation to make things dynamic, as well as Chromatic Aberration and weapon DoF adding more depth to the image. Turn off Antialiasing for the all the effects to work properly.

What's your depth buffer setting under d3d9 tab? It will either apply depth effects to world, or gun, not both. If applied to world then you can see ambient occlusion through the gun since the view model isnt on the same depth buffer.

lemme see if i can grab a screenie for you, i noticed this too and only use it on the gun for the DoF sweetness. a bit unfortunate but i think worth it.

EDIT: ah heres the screenie for my depth buffer settings:

I believe youre talking about the textures from the various mods outlined in this guide: Moddb.com

I followed this guide (except for installing the AI and particle mods). this package is just the reshade shader preset for DoF, colour adjustment etc.

I did everything according to the instructions, but I can't configure the presets. How do I enter the settings menu?

i got a 'some textures failed to load' error and the result gets really dark. Any idea what could be wrong?

EDIT: i moved the necessary png to the "textures" folder and it worked. I like your preset very much. Good to make the game work with a more current reshade.

another comment. Man, i'm loving it. Thx!

One question: Do you know if there's a way to make reshade ignore the first person weapon when applying AO? or maybe use 2 different shaders for it, one for the weapon another for the environment?

Thanks for your comments! I believe that because of the way RavenShield's depth buffer works you can only get the weapon or environment, so ive decided to go with the weapon as it gives the DoF effect and the environment AO will draw on top of the weapon if you do it that way. Hope this helps!

Yes. I have tested it myself too, and it's really weird how the environment is also broken into different chunks. In short, it's seemingly impossible to use AO on it, so i'm going with the weapon too. Another weird effect is that when you get shot, the AO makes the shadows kinda detach from the weapon. It's fast and it ends up giving an interesting visual cue, so i like it. But it's technically a 'bug'.
Cheers!

I'm barely getting 30 fps, and .5s of input lag. If my 3070 can't run this, I'm not sure what can.

sorry for only seeing this now, but did you follow the part of the instructions where you have to download the LUT images from that nexusmods page and put them in the right directory? thanks!
