I think I might have found the reason for this (in the GC mode at least). The problem is that for the alliance at least, almost none of their capital ships have any population count on the galactic level map. They still have a pop count in battle, just not on the galactic map. This could be causing the AI to only build ships that actually do have a population count on the galactic map, which comes down to Tri-Scythes, Fighters, the 2 super capital class ships (with 15 pop) and maybe 1 or 2 other frigate/capital class.

Alright will do. Hopefully it fixes the Corellian ships cause those are my favorite ones next to Hapan ships.

Yes 0.7 Gamma is the version I am using. I also noticed with the ZC in the GC I don't have any readout for tech under day where it normally is, not sure if thats normal (I haven't played normal FoC in forever) but figured I should mention it just in case.

Err its not in the actual campaign its in GC. I've bought all the special abilites from teh black market and such but I cant find anyway to get the lucrehulk, mandator mk II or the other frigates.

Is it normal for the ZC to not be able to build anything but 3 capital ships (providence carrier/cruiser, keldabe, and aggressor) and only 2 frigates (dreadnought and the victory II) cause that's all I can build in my campaign I did with them (wanted to do something different).

Also how do you get the corellia capital ships in the campaign since Corellia can't build a lvl 3 yard.

Ok found out how to get this to work for FoC on steam as well.

Go into steam, go to your library and find empire at war. Right click on it in the steam library list, click on properties, then click on launch options.

type "swfoc MODPATH=mods/[modname] for the mod you want to play (and make sure its in the steam/steamapps/common/star wars empire at war/corruption/mods folder) then click play while still in steam, and when it asks you which one to play choose forces of corruption... and it works perfectly.

You can only get it to work with EaW mods that don't requrie FoC (like Steiner Advanced Units mods reloaded).

To do so you just install as normal but the directory should look like

C:/Program Files/Steam/SteamApps/Common/Star Wars Empire At War/GameData/Mods/[modname]

with the batch file reading:
"C:/Program Files/Steam/SteamApps/Common/Star Wars Empire At War/GameData/sweaw.exe" MODPATH=Mods\[modname]

Until they release a working FoC shortcut (the one that comes with the steam version opens vanilla EaW) you can't use any FoC mods with the steam version.

Also just found out, the shortcut not working is the only problem, mods will work for this game. SAU works perfectly just as normal just running it with a .bat file just as long as it points to the right place, even to the point you can use the steam community while playing the mod.

The problem is, you cannot use that shortcut to even open normal sw:foc.

I have tried and so far cannot even find anyway to open forces of corruption with steam, at all, even though its the gold pack and should include it.
