If you read there, it will say "Currently, the only game that utilizes MegaTexture based on the Tech 4 engine is Enemy Territory: Quake Wars."
Even thought Quake Wars is the only game to use it, it's available to be used in the Doom 3 and several custom maps have. Both games use ID Tech 4.
Of course it'll work! It's the same method used as Doom 3 for their outdoor scenes.
Yep; The engine does most of the clientside work. This isn't only a simple QC mod, we've got a lot going here. The GUI is custom, an actual bar, instead of just numbers, for instance. Radar will probably be done client side by pulling some variables out of QC.
