This post is going to get a wee bit long, so I apologize in advance. In any case, I struggle with some very annoying CTD issues that I just can't seem to get rid off. Every time I think it's finally solved it comes back to haunt me twofold. No errors or nothing, just an instant CTD.. Some are to be expected, but this happens so often (especially with MP) that I get the feeling I did something wrong. So any advice/tips are most appreciated.
Specs:
Intel Core i7-4960X
32GB 1600MHz DDR3 Quad Channel Memory
8GB GDDR5 MSI ARMOR Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 OC
Windows 10 Pro
Install order:
-BF2142
-Patch 1.50
-Patch 1.51
-PR 1.0 (both SP & MP in separate folders)
-PR 1.2 (both SP & MP in separate folders)
-PR HD Textures
-PR New Weapons
-BF2142 Reshade
Things I tried so far:
-Disable all overlays
-Delete cache folder and clear temp files
-Install mods in various order
-Disable AA and Reshade
-Play without HD texture pack
-Run as admin
and a combination of everything above.. So any suggestions?
