It looks nothing like it used to. I think it should resemble more the original one.

And garry says that the L4D files(almost all) can be downloaded by the L4D dedicated server(a free tool), so port L4D content to gmod is fine(he says).

I'm porting for personal use, so it isn't illegal
and... it's stupid, the Developers not even exist today(well Rewolf).
But... i have to see what models are avariable in the DEMO, so they are free = not illegal. if i'm wrong whi L4D models are legal to port to GMOD?

Not, the demo don't need steam, it's retail. but if you wanna play the game on-line(and with a little better grapics) u need the patch from here(http://www.nextdimension.org/gunmantosteam/) to make it work like a HL1 mod.

Yep you can use it in steam if you use it like a mod of HL1.
