The Half Life 1 I have is downloaded from Steam, but the graphics are reasonably HD. I have loaded Echoes from the zip file and the folder and files are in the Half Life folder, but it does not appear in my Steam Games Library. How do I tell which version of HL 1 I have?

Many thanks Leon. My emails get away at times, so I can imagine what yours are like. I went back to a Saved Game that was prior to this level, worked forward again and everything worked OK. Thanks for all your hard work in developing this mod - have now finished it for the first time and will do it all again - had great fun. Love the Halflife family.

I successfully got the Episode 3 mod to run on my PC with Win8.1 I have been having loads of fun, but have now run into a glitch. Today I get a message on screen that was something like "node map incorrect - rebuilding". After a short time, the game continued but I then ran into a dead end. It is in the part where Gordon falls through floar boards into water and then travels through ice tunnels. I got to the end of the tunnels and into a vent that was under water. I came out the other side Ok near the point where the white monster shoots a soldier and then closes the door behind him. From there I just run into a dead end. I watched a YouTube walkthrough, and at the point that I am blocked, there is an openable door, but I only have a blank wall. This is probably something to do with the error message. Can I replace all my map files (not sure which one this is - they are all .bsp files)?
