where is teh alpha omg new update plz

We don't have a set date for now. We're expecting to get a lot of work done this summer. We know a lot of you guys are waiting patiently for the alpha but the last thing want is to give you something that feels rushed. We want to create the nostalgia we feel when play the originals and it'd be an artistic disservice to us and you guys if we didn't take the time to make things up to par.

As much effort as we put into this, we cannot receive money as we don't own the copyright to star wars.

This has been brought up before but the real issue is that marmoset uses a specular fresnel that can alter the look of the model dramatically. I turn this setting down when I'm working and the end results have been identical in-game, in marmoset, in xoilul shader, and so forth.

They look better imo. Our style isn't too much to reference, some things are exaggerated or liberties are taken for the sake of aesthetics.
