Well I really want to try this but keep getting network errors when trying to download it from all of the mirrors, is it hosted anywhere else?

Yea same error here in spite of 12gb of RAM.
Keep us updated by email as well as I'm more than willing to toss some dosh your way.
Just a heads up you have an error in your README. You say to Extract to the folder SHADOWS, but then for the map name in the shortcut you have it listed as -game shadow which won't launch it as it should be -game shadows.
Alrighty shall deal with it for the time being.
Is there anyway to zoom in? Everything is so tiny on my screen...
note that i'm not critiquing your composition, your choice of using chiptune type sounds (hell i love chiptunes) or the game itself. what i am critiquing is that you're still using streaming quality audio files for a local commercial release.
Funny i make music and just because you use chiptune and 8/4 bit sounds doesn't mean you need to squash the bitrate to hell. that's not authentic, it's lazy porting from a newgrounds game where you are trying to keep the content size down for loading time.
my c64, nes, and atari don't sound so squashed. i kind of expected you know maybe 320kbps bitrate if it's mp3 not a 24kbps mono squashed to hell file when i pay for a game when it comes to sound. don't use authenticity as an excuse for having no audio fidelity.
The bitrate of the in game soundtrack for a paid release is horrid.
I hope it improves upon the few flaws and gripes I had with the first one. Marketing it as being close to Crystalis got me hook line and sinker as that, Landstalker, and Alundra are probably among 3 of my most time cherished games. Any dev that can recreate that experience for me has my praises. Evilquest came close, but fell short in some regards and overall was a bit too easy.
Evilquest 2 I'll definitely be following and more than likely purchasing on release.
just got it cheers!
back in my day we didn't have preorders and you had to install games from floppy disks and buy them at a brick and mortar
just a quick question as someone who bought this on indievania can i get a desura key? (i hate to say it but indievania seems to rarely get updates to games when they make it to other services)
Reminds me of Earthbound
lol can't wait to get hands on with this
any updates on the indievania update?
nix that figured out the issue here's my review/feature Youtube.com
full, windows 7
yea but if you close the game you have to start from the beginning all over
i have to ask what is the point of the saving dialogue after each level if there is no way to go to a main menu? i want to review this title, but there is no documentation for it besides the basic controls in game and would like to know if that saving dialog is just pointless fluff.
song is from the game, snagged this on indievania during the sale and it's a blast
did a lil vid feature on it as well Youtube.com
loving the progress on this guys, makes it hard for me to do a vid feature on it and come up with those interview questions for ya though ;)
absolutely loving this so far, reminds me so much of crystalis (maybe a bit too much since i want to replace the score and sounds with the ones from crystalis). Planning on doing a video for it for a site i contribute this week. If the devs are reading this would you guys be up for an interview and if so best way to contact you?
