This is a patch for V0.5.0. Please paste this into your files for V0.5.0 and overwrite everything. As usual, this is an Alpha so expect bugs etc. Please dont download this then complain because its not finished.

Hey Guys I love this Mod to bits but now that i've Patched it when i try to open it i get "Unable to open file: Modules\A World of Ice and Fire 0.5.4 Patch\Resource\textures_face_gen.brf Why is this?
You patched from v0.5.0 to v0.5.4 overwriting the previous? The update doesnt touch that file.
When you say Patched i deleted all the Files of v0.5.0 and replaced with v0.5.4 and now i get that error
Ahh my Apologies i Made a stupid mistake all sorted now and good work on the patch guys it looks amazing :)

it seams to be a bug/problem with the plate halmet (you can see it on vale knights ) just so pepole get to know it

I have wanted to suggest something , I am not sure if this is possible but you know how whenever you get married in regular Mount and Blade that animation shows , cutscene or whatever . Could you make it so when you take over a city or bring a captive into one could you make a Public Execution . Overall I love this mod so far and will try to download it for beta testing . Keep up this good work . And by the way do you have a youtube channel for the sake of patch update videos :D

I'm pretty new to using mods. Can you please explain how to get the patch to work.
Download v0.5.0, then copy v0.5.4 into your v0.5.0 folder. It will ask if you want to copy and overwrite the files, click yes.
I have a problem, I can enter the game and create a character but when it comes to the part where a bandit is supposed to attack game crashes saying runtime error. I have other mods that work normal, so I'm interested whether I installed it incorrectly or there is a problem with my pc
The first scene uses alot of memory and i think thats the problem for the runtime error. Im going to change the starting location to a smaller scene for the next update, which should solve it.
Unfortunately this means you will need to wait until v0.6.0 to play. I shall try and push the release forward because of this.
Yea same error here in spite of 12gb of RAM.
yes getting same error will try it on 0.6.0 when i Dl it, cant wait to try this mod

So i'm not good at installing mods and I have the 0.5.0 version installed but I'm not sure how to put the new patch in, do I just open the folder for 0.5.0 and put everything for 0.5.4 in it? Do I need to delete anything?
Just as you said, but overwrite everything it asks.
So I just drag it in and it will ask to overwrite certain things?

its giving runtime error could anybody help me
its a very good mod the only problem is that i cannot find northern armour for myself (buy it at the market)
Running Ubuntu 13.04 x64, 16GB RAM, running on steam. Downloaded the mod for the first time (extracted v0.5 archive + replaced files with the v0.5.4 archive) , but it crashes half way through the loading screen. Modules such as Diplomacy work fine.
I didnt even realise mount and blade worked on ubuntu :o. Was that included in the mac update? If so i will have to see what/if anything changed that would stop it from working. Anyone have any info on this?

What warband version are you using? Try upgrading to the newest.
my mount and blade is 1.153
Did you install the patch over the current 0.5.0 module overwriting everything it asks?
I try to load a game from the previous version and i get an "RGL ERROR": Load error: Number of simple triggers in file: 187, exceeds 186.
is there a way to fix it? Iv'e wasted a lot of time playing with this character so i don;t want to lose it. Also, I have a suggestion: At the city scenes, many castles are missing, for example: the great hall on dragonstone is just a house with a thatch roof, and there is No enterance to the great hall from the inside of the castle wwalls, only by menu. Could you please add the castles?
Oh, one more suggestion: Could you please find a way to make impassable castles? cause you can actually just pass beside the bloody gate and the wildlings can just pass the wall gate whenever they want...

The updates unfortunately are not save compatible.
As for the scenes, most are still not done. We have quite a few more going in for the next update. Check out our forums for the changelog preview for the next release.
yes, but what about the impassable castles/locations?
p.s Opinion-The map is too small and not enough locations in Essos. For example-in the story it took Tyrion and Catelyn a few weeks too get to the bloody gate from the crossroads inn, but in the game you cana do it in less than a day. Same for the lands North of the wall-takes a few days to get from Castle Black to Thenn.
Can you please keep us updated about the versions of m&b the mod works for?
This mod will always be playable on the latest version of warband. So its best if you always keep fully updated.
Thanks(it was me with those guest replies above, starting from the one with the rgl error). I have to say this mod is incredibly good, this mod is the only reason iv'e just registered to this site. I give it 10 out of 10 even thou it's still in alpha state.

produno are you one of the 3D modelers in the team? you think you can create different types of face obj? coz i can help on doing the face textures and skin tones. if you want we can do a few face type of important characters from game of thrones series.
