Someone found a way to fix this crash here: Moddb.com

It worked for me. This is what they wrote:
I had that problem and figured it out. go to the control panel. click "systems and security". then click "system". then click "advanced system settings". go to the "performance" settings. go to "data execution prevention" and set it to "turn on DEP for essential windows programs and services only". after that, hit apply and restart you computer.

This looks like such a sick map Quake II style. I know it says GZDOOM, but does it not work at all on Zandronum? I disabled fog and set sector light mode to bright but still get the following error:

Script error, "ma_put.pk3:decorate.lmp" line 533:
Invalid state parameter a_setscale

Good job man! Love seeing this kinda stuff. Reminds me of the old days when, for example, the community made the viewable weapons model/.MD2 for Quake II which eventually became part of the official release.

Are getting the books necessary to progress? I ask because I just found one in a 'secret' room (button on wall near ceiling; had to jump onto petruding wall bricks to access) which makes me think they're optional? Also it keeps saying there are 'more' to find but never tells you how many left. I must've got or 3 maybe 4 by now.

I'm pretty much lost after getting the gold key. Still need silver and purple. I'm starting to feel Dave_Billing's frustration but it's such a nice map. I wanna finish it legit especially since it appears I'm 3/4 or more done.
