I have worked in the video game industry at large studios for 13 years. Recently, I left my job at Disney to pursue my desire to make my own games. I come from an artist background in the industry and have been learning C# the past year. I worked on Welcome to the Game II with Reflect studios, then went on to start DarkStone and focus on my own projects. The Subject is DSD's flagship title and I am excited to finally be working in, what I feel, is one of the largest highlights of my career.

Report RSS The Subject - Weekly Roundup 11/13

Posted by on

I know! I didn't write one last week... I only did the video diary. Sorry about that but the reason is good! (There is a video roundup for this week too though) There has been A LOT that I have been working on and some great things to come for the Subject.

Launch Date

Firstly, a launch date has been set! November 30th! So make sure to visit the steam page and add it to your wish list. The Subject Steam Page

New Trailer

Next is a new Trailer to go with the update to the steam page. You can find it there but I will tack it here too.

Pre-Launch Demo

I took some time out of full development to cut out a bit of the game to make a Pre-Launch trailer demo. It's a very small portion of the game and is more about delivering the feel than all the puzzles. I hope it's enjoyable as it was a bit of a gamble taking the time to work on the demo over the full game. Download it and give it a shot! Pre-Launch Demo

What's Left

Lots of polish. I have a few core things that still need to be hammered out, but overall it's a lot of lighting, fixing bugs, and trying to make the experience enjoyable. So I will be burning rather hard these last few weeks. Wish me luck! Just 2 days away is DreamHack Atlanta, where I will be posted up at a booth in the Indie Playground in the Best Let's Play section booth I-46. Be sure to stop by and say hello if you'll be there. I have a lot more to write in a lot of other places so I'll end the round-up here. Until next time! -Brian
