So, I was originally planning on giving A Coward's Debt the same treatment as this, but somehow, I broke Amnesia on my computer. Like permanently. Even after uninstalling and re-installing, it won't run at all. I've been trying various fixes for months, and nothing works. So unfortunately, any updates to ACD are going to have to wait.

It's a fake, improvised language created by my best friend. I don't remember anymore what their lines meant, but they were fairly generic enemy lines, like "Where are you?" or "I'm coming for you!" Hull has the deeper voice, and Haak has the higher voice.

There is a zip file in the custom story folder that contains much of the background and lore about The Great Work. The password appears at the end of the credits. But, if you have any questions after that, feel free to ask!

I had a dream last night, and woke up thinking I had a great idea to improve a scene in this mod. Then I remembered there are no scenes where you're in the middle of a huge desert trying to shoot a bunch of guys on horses with a rifle.

If you started going slow after dropping out of the ceiling, you have to use a laudanum to heal yourself. There's a spare one in a chest near the angel statue if you have none left.

The monsters are off-limits, but a lot of the content is free-to-use from Frictional forum users, or was taken from Machine for Pigs. Everything that's custom is listed in the credits, and are for the most part okay to use.

This happens when when two maps have the same file name, and the game chooses the wrong one from the directory.

I would change the name of the incorrect map temporarily, until you get past that part, then you can change it back.

I've been investigating this bug but can't seem to duplicate it. No matter what I can't get the machine to spin with only one chemical, and the fuse always works on the elevator. :P

I think it's probably due to the doors knocking stuff around so badly that the physics strain to keep up and lag the game out. I'm still trying to find a solution for this. I'm sorry to everyone!

A couple people have reported this issue, but haven't gotten any error reports to show me what exactly is causing the crash. Without any info on what to fix, there's nothing I can really do about it right now. :(

Just unzip directly into the "custom_stories" folder, and you can play it from the Amnesia menu.

The missing pedestal is lying in one of the adjoining rooms. You have to grab it and put it in the correct spot.

Check to see if the map you're getting sent to has the same map name as the one you should be getting sent to. The game searches for the map in alphabetical order, so if you have two maps of the same name, it will select the one higher up on the list of custom stories.

I hoped to avoid this by putting numbers in front of all my map names, so it might be a different problem. It happened to me though when I got sent to a "prison.map" of a different custom story instead of the "prison.map" of the correct one.
