After creating the character and clicking continue. When it says "the rasp of a blade leaving its scabbard" or something like that.

so my game just crashes when i try to load into a new game, right before fighting the bandit during the opening scene. Any idea as to why? It hasnt done this with any other mod.

You have to enter his shop. :) itll be right next to what appears to be a general goods stand.

P.S. This quest line can be exceedingly difficult if not prepared. I suggest having at least a 150 man army with 50+ of those being elites (the more archers the better imo, the TTL infantry are insanely well armored and skilled and pretty much funnel you into a trap during the first mission.). And thats just for the first mission, the second one is also very difficult and depends more on your own characters personal skill. so just be prepared and save often :)

IF youre not a human you can still enter but its kinda more difficult. You will just have to get your relation with them above 10 (i believe) by helping there patrol's in battle. The quickest way i have found to do this is to do it when you already have bad relations with the hakkon or drahara and assist TTL in battles against those nations. Once above 10 they will see you as a friend and you will be able to enter and collect the quest. :) hope this helped.

Sometimes they may be hiding in the city of Venetor, which is only accessible after completing The Third Legion quest line. There seems to be a glitch that if they spawn in that tavern they won't move out. But they typically dont spawn in that tavern until quite a while into the game, so if youre quick enough to earn the money for all the companions and finding them (now made easier by ransom broker's being able to tell you where they are at, but will not tell you if they are in venetor (dont know why)) you should be able to get them all.

Also hyk is only acquired by being a human and starting the game on an island far to the north of perisno. :) hope this helped.

Anyone else think that Tolrania and the Maccavians are just completely underpowered in relation to nations like hakkon, elintor, and the Reich?

I love the new version and all that was balanced and tweaked and bugfixed. But for some reason i CTD every 8 or 9 days. And i have tried using others configs and it still does the same. So im not sure as to whats going on, but outside of that fantastic work! Definitely my favorite warband mod!
