I am not on the team, but the reason the venators show the turrets and the star destroyers do not is because turrets like that are not found on a star destroyer. As to being able to build them, I am pretty confident (its been a while) that you can only receive three in that specific GC and you can build them in skirmish. Again, I haven't played in a while, hope it helps.

Same thing happened to me the first time, your installation didn't work with the new maps so when you attack a planet with the new map then it crashes (or it did for me). I would just recommend reinstalling it again following all the directions. If that doesn't work ask someone like KillerHurdz who knows a lot more about this than me

Okay its been a little awhile since ive played but my general strategy is to focus on your economy straight off the bat, milk all the credits you possibly can.

Now as a strategy against their fleets, build decent size fleets with good variety along your perimeter. If they attack send in outlying fleets to reinforce (also have good space stations if you can).

Also in the actual battle its obvious you need to target the hangers before anything else. Defend your space station since they pump out bombers. Simply use your bombers along with a light escort, flank them, and hit their hangers. Without the enemy fighters you can regroup before you actually destroy the ships and they send in more reinforcements.

Okay since others are commenting id like to give my two cents, yes things seem to be horrible but its not like yall are thinking. For one, throughout history people have though the same thing you are thinking now (except for the fascist part). There have been many other darker times in American history. It just seems worse because you are looking in more of the present than past.

AS to the fascist part, I find several things missing and others that shouldnt be on there. Fascism is basically anti-religion and also the people of Germany had actually elected their dictator to a position prior to their taking over.

Also it is highly unlikely the US will ever head in this directions for atleast a half century. The circumstances are completely different from that of Nazi Germany or Italy. We would have to have been defeated by outside forces and striped of everything we Americans believe is ours. An unbelievable depression would have to occur, for example in Germany people used the German Marks for wallpaper because it was cheaper.

I just dont believe we are headed this way and if youd like to debate it im all for it, but I do think this does make you think of American's current state.

I find many of your posts very interesting and I agree with you on almost everything. Especially in this article. However, I seem to think of time as more of a concept that we created, not something that is actually real. This is demonstrated by the peculiarities in 'our' time once you leave Earth.

Okay I would like to mention that this whole debate about one side is evil and the other is pure is a bunch of crap. I am Christian, I am proud of it, and nothing ever could sway my belief in God; however, I have nothing against atheists or people of other religions. That is their choice not mine.

And now as to the whole death and wars. Both sides are guilty. Atheists have killed millions in the history of mankind. Christians have killed millions in the history of mankind. Muslims have killed millions in the history of mankind. Need I go on? People we are HUMAN. Plain and simple. There are always the wackos and crazies lurking around. There are always those who want more power and dont care about others. These people dont see a difference between beliefs, only their own messed up world. But the average people like you and me are just plain and simple believers. Just because you are Atheist doesnt mean you dont have any morals, and just because you are Christian doesnt mean that you will kill people who dont believe what you do.

War and death is just a part of our world and it has nothing to do with if you are Atheist or Christian or Muslim or whatever.

I am sick of when people think that their belief is better or never did anything wrong. The Catholic Church screwed up big and I will easily admit it. But atheists dont have a prettier background than Christians do either. How about we just get along? I dont care what you believe and I dont want to attack your beliefs. So leave mine alone.

Thats an interesting idea, but it would have to be completely different than all the other maps. The units wouls have to be swimming instead of walking and the graphics and environment would probably be hard to do. Plus there are not a ton of units to use underwater. The idea still sounds cool though

They are probably just given some at the beginning of the gc because I know what you are talking about its happened to me a few times too

That is an excellent strategy. I basically do the same thing except instead of just defending its good to throw in commando raids to keep the CIS at bay for awhile. And i also agree with your comment about fighters

Its not hard at all to win a GC on easy even as the Republic. You just have to learn how to use your advantages and when you first start only buy economic buildings. The enemy might take over your space in some systems but dont usually follow up and invade the ground when on easy.

Wow that was alot of talk about partisan crap. Lets just face it, both parties have messed up because they will not do the hard things that might not get them re-elected. Also im sick of every president blaming it on the person before him, it accomplishes nothing. We should just try to fix the economy soon before it blows up instead of issuing blame to former presdidents.

No and my guess is there probably wont be a campaign for this mod either
