Changed from default to this, added gradient flare, trying to keep the atmosphere of the level. 2nd attempt, should also mention in game time approximately 08:00 on both screens
Hm, the sky is too colourful, but imo more mysterious. Maybe the explanation is the PSY-loaded atmosphere :D
It's a weird place Yantar, so it should have the sky to match, and that's the balance trick, not to go overboard with effects yet keep the atmosphere creepy :/

Not bad, but imo you could do with adding some fog to the level to help it feel more mysterious. Apart from that, things appear to be shaping up nicely by that screen. :)
Yes, going to add some fog to it, just how much without losing too much definition, I will juggle with the fog_distance/fog_color/fog_density and the far_plane after work today.

Well, as you don't want the fog really thick you could try something like;
far_plane = 100
fog_distance = 100
fog_color = 0.015, 0.015, 0.015
fog_density = 0.35
env_ambient = ambient_env_fog
You could also add some sky rotation as well to make things look extra nice in-game.
