One of the team members uploaded the Half Life 2 source code and thus their hosting was terminated.

I have found some mirrors so the mod is now available for download once more. Go to Genesis Development for more.

No it doesn't add any new units/buildings (yet) but it does make many bug fixes and general enhancments. If you don't like it no one's forcing you to play it. But I would suggest you at least try it out, otherwise you may never truely know.

Pain, your host must be having problems with the site or it's failed to update your dns because it works fine for me.

Make sure your patched to version 1.5 of generals and don't have any remnants of another mod you may have installed previously.

Yes, if you take a look at the worker/dozer icon to the top right side of the command set you will see it says tech structures/upgrades. Click on it. I really am amazed at how many people fail to notice an entire icon.
