Sorta my problem as well. Used the base game v1.6.02 and then the full COPReborn v1.14.7.
Played good for 2 days and now, it seems, the xrEngine.exe for v1.6.02 no longer works. The game keeps looking for a disc, won't boot past it. I've replaced it a few times but no joy thus far.
