Where do you get the extermination wad from?!?? I've been looking for it and can't seem to find it.

It just takes me out of the game after playing v20b.. It's not necessarily how often I stop to shoot dead bodies but it's like when you throw a grenade and the blast wave smears whatever bodies are lying around. And it just makes the game wayy more immersive..it's no wonder why there was such a demand from other people to include it in the mod..if you care about the little things and detail then it absolutely matters.

Once painkiller includes it in an update, I'll absolutely be playing it for sure.

I know right.. Lack of destroyable bodies in project brutality made it really disappointing and completely unplayable for me after playing v20b... It feels like a step back...

Can someone please guide me on how to play brutal doom v20b online with a friend? I've been trying for hours and hours and can't figure it out...If me or my friend makes a match, the server never shows up in the server list...How do you do this???? Thanks.

Anybody know what's better?? Zandronum or GZDoom???

I think the old melee is better but I find the gore and extra death animations more satisfying in this new update..so I'd prefer this one..the little changes to the gore and death animations are subtle but they significantly change it for the better for me..

I couldn't go back to v20 after this..I find the improvements to be more than its faults.. (melee system) I'm also loving the updated assault rifle and liking the updated style of tracers that the guns shoot out..Idk I'm mostly loving this update..but I was a bit disappointed that not all the bodies are destructible...

I agree also, the punching feels a little slower but everything else feels more solid..I love that little extra spray blood effect that flies out of the enemies when you shoot them and that increased rocket launcher splash damage is much better I'd say..

But yea the fighting aspect feels slower and not speedy..well the good news is that he'll most likely fix that since brutal doom is always getting updated...Just hopefully it won't take as long until the next update....

Appreciate the input.. but my pc isn't too bad.. I got a GTX 780 TI SC with ACX, 16 GB DDR3 ram and a Intel I7 950 @ 3.07 Ghz.. I noticed in your starter pack video earlier that you had about 60 fps..were you running it at lower settings?

And yes your city maps are amazing man, well done.. I just wished my pc handled it better..And I can run pretty much all of the latest games at 1080p maxed settings at 60 fps so that's what had me wondering...

Great update but I'm getting low fps in the city parts mainly and some regular hitching in normal levels too now...Before I used to get real high fps in normal v20 sometimes over 1,000 fps! Now I get massive frame dips and in city parts I get up to 45 fps sometimes and it really slows down the experience...Any ideas?

And before in v20 it ran flawless and I don't have any intention of lowering the detail graphic settings....I thought this update was supposed to improve performance?? Hasn't really been the case in my experience... :/ Any fix to this?

What is the main difference between free doom and gzdoom??? I use gzdoom and it runs real good..is freedom any different? Does it have online play?? Basically, what is the difference?

Just in case anyone was interested...sarge put this in a Facebook conversation with someone who told him to take his time and to not release it "if it's not ready"

Sarge said: Don't worry. I have a huge team of betatesters working on reporting bugs and I am puting around 6 to 8 hours of work on it per day. The current build has zero gameplay-related bugs, and only few dozens of visual bugs. I'm sure that I can have everything finished until Wednesday. My only real concern is about detailed destroyable bodies, not sure if I will be able to deliver the same level of detail showed in the previous video for all other monsters.

And I personally want to have this released before the new year because on all new year nights I just go out to drink with friends, and get back home around 1AM, then I like to play Brutal Doom online in a random server. It has been like a tradition on the last 3 years. So, releasing v20b and the Starter Pack before the new year also is a part of my personal interests.

I was just wondering because I play the hell out of v20 and been anticipating v20b a lot because I'm curious to see what's been updated in the new version..I admire how much polish goes into this mod..you do a hell of a job..! Man, when will v20b release??? I've been literally checking this website and mark's facebook everyday since about 2 months ago lol... and nada!! He said possibly by the end of October or the first weeks of November but nothing...! And not even a word on what's going on....This sucks, I'm a huge fan of brutal doom and I anticipate it more than most games these days...It's such a polished experience and deserves more recognition! And i've already voted for it too..! Lol
