Play this game, install any other wannabe "open world, lots-a-freedom" RPG game, and prepare to face-palm.

Why? Because immediately after you will think "How come back in 2000, a game was 10 times better than the **** they pull out of their ***** now?"

And after that, re-install this game later on, rinse and repeat. Unending fun, UNENDING!

A new, much more fresh experience!

It's simply mesmerizing. The game looks simply fabulous, and while this is the kind of game you can complete more than once, this fresh paint makes it just... Even better.

A MUST try, and a MUST have if you want to play in 1080p!

Simply one of the best Half Life mod out there.

Now this 10 isn't for extreme Fanboyism from me, no... This 10 is very well deserved.

The dedication shown by the mod's team is simply remarkable. Over the years, it simply hasn't ceased to improve (surely at a much slower pace nowadays) and impress.

There's only one bad thing about it, well not bad but unfortunate, and that is the number of players (and the players themselves).
This of course isn't the devs fault, new games come out, and source gold is getting really really old now. It's no surprise that the number of players diminishes.
The players are also much less communicative.

Back in the day, the servers were bustling with chatter and random banter, both voice and text. It was fun! I damn well met half of my steam friends while playing Sven Coop!
Now, not so much. People are much more quieter, next to no interactions whatsoever.

But as I was saying, ain't the devs' fault! Things change!
This mod was awesome, this mod IS awesome!
Give it a try now, you might still enjoy it as much as we used to back then!

Well, that was a major disappointment.

If you're looking for a mod that will make the STALKER experience a better one, turn around.

Sure, this mod advertises the "hard" aspect. The game certainly becomes harder BUT (And I HATE it when game and mod developers alike do that) it seems to greatly favor the A.I, TOO much... Just too much.

NPCs pretty much become demigods and gods. You're just a simple peasant running around, doing his best not get smited, while having to deal with **** like health and weapons condition, when others just... Run around, carefree.
It's just too unfair, not unforgiving, unfair.

Not to mention the crazy prices, just crazy... It's just ridiculous.

Anyways, I really hope this will all get sorted, tweaked or w/e, the game just isn't fun no more.
