Installing this custom story was a little tricky. I had to manually insert each Osvaldo folder into each REDIST folder to get this to work. I had to put each one in the Redist Billboards, Redist Custom Stories, and Redist Entities. Was I supposed to just unzip to the main Amnesia folder instead of the Redist folder? This install not as simple as just placing the entire folder in the Custom Story folder. It works now. Excellent story by the way. I'm rating it a 10.

I've got a problem with this mod. Let's say you didn't go back to one of the very first rooms to get the drill crank after obtaining the sharp drill bit. Let's say you just proceeded on to the other areas without getting that drill crank. You will then be stuck because the slime blocking all the doors later on. I couldn't go back and get that drill crank after the doors became blocked so I couldn't proceed. That seems like a major design flaw to me.

There is a MAJOR bug with this story. I am on level 3. I entered the first bedroom on the right and got a key off a shelf to the right of the bed. Then a door opens in this room. I enter the room and NO monster. The monster is supposed to come out and break down a locked door where the acid is located but the monster NEVER comes out. This needs to be fixed. Without the acid the story is unplayable.

This is happening to me too. When I start this story it immediately sends me into a pitch dark free fall and then it says that I have to carry on over and over. This is a major bug.

To the creator of this custom story; This is truly one of my favorite custom stories that I have ever played. Is there any chance of you possibly fixing the flickering overlapping textures throughout this story? And things like the footprints you can see on the ceiling in one of the hallways? If these graphical glitches were fixed this story would be just about perfect. I really enjoyed it.

Yes, I do believe that I saved before trying to use the crowbar.

I deleted this one. I got down to the cellar with crowbar and got "cannot use item this way" on BOTH doors. I watched the walkthrough and saw where the crowbar should work on one of those doors but it did not for me. Bug...

Same here. When I open that door with the club key I ended up back in Insomnia. I deleted Insomnia off my system and I am also deleting this Monster Affair. Not worth reinstalling Amnesia original game for these two buggy mods.

Same bug happend to me. I am finding more and more of these custom stories have game ending bugs like this:

When go to the third floor for the second time(after the chamber)
and go in the door on the front its open and when you get in and die(by brute) you respawn at the door of the thrid floor and all the doors are locked and you get stuck.

This really ****** me off! I played this story for a very long time. I get to the part where you are supposed to combine the hammer with the chipper and it doesn't work! why???

Oh yeah, Gary Dark Secrets worked perfectly too.

Once again, I can't play this full mod. I have no idea why certain full mods work perfectly and some cause the error of "Could not load main init file: config/main_init.cfg"

Maybe this is a Steam thing and certain rar/zips were created with someone using Steam in mind rather than the retail version of Amnesia? I am not using Steam. I have the retail version.

These full mods have worked perfectly for me:

Cry Oni 1 and 2, Deterioration, Disponentia, Insomnia, La Caza, Rose in the Dark, Tenebris Lake, and White Night.

The ones that give me this error are:

Coma Awakening, One Light In Darkness, Through the Portal, Confederacy's Nightmare, and Harold's Story (Amnesia Silent Hill)

The only thing I can think of as to why some work fine and others don't is that some of these files are zipped up with Steam users in mind. I really don't know another reason why this is happening.
