What's so annoying is that if your not lucky at the beginning of the residue processing chapter (crowbar getting replaced with like 1 tripmine) makes it impossible to progress unless you reload your save for a different outcome.
If you get like 2 tripmines you have to use your brain where to place them for least damage. On the beginning of the chapter you have to break a vent, then in the middle you have to break another vent. If you wasted the other tripmine then your basically softlocked aswell.
