For a couple of months now, since August if I recall, i've wanted to play STALKER Shadow Of Chernobyl once again, but the vanilla game just doesn't work for me with STALKER games, so i said to myself... ok let's go again with Oblivion Lost... nope, i tried LURK... some nasty bugs came up... STALKERSOUP... definetly out of the question.... I was out of ideas as to what awesome mod, the best at this hour avaible should i strap onto my STALKER and play the same game but stil with different settings and gameplay... i had none, i played with mostly all the stable and best rated mods out there since today. So i said, oh well.... better download the nice but boooring Complete mod again... so i did... and from August till today, i tried daily to start up the game and start playing through the game again, but everytime i just quit after a couple of minutes.... so i did today, now... BUT! (and i say but because STALKER is still running in the taskbar)... i said to myself, let's have another look to Moddb.com, maybe there's some new mod out of TBA status, or some new updates on a mod... and then i saw AUTUMN AURORA 2 RELEASED! My knees just soft... why? Because i tried once the first release of AUTUMN AURORA and i can say it was more than stable (just 2-3 random crashes to desktop) and it has the best graphics and details i've ever seen in SHADOW OF CHERNOBYL. Absolute series from CrommCruac, the latest Atmosfear release are the best visual mods you can obtain even today in STALKER CALL OF PRIPYAT, and by seeing these mods in SHADOW OF CHERNOBYL, for a eye-candy jerk like me is definetly a WIN from the start. So i give my perfect 10 SCORE to AUTUMN AURORA 2, mainly because of the visuals, and because i know the first release of the mod was a very solid and stable release. I'm still in the download process of the mod, with STALKER "COMPLETE" still running in my backgroud taskbar, but as far as I'm concerned... this is the best mod for SHADOW OF CHERNOBYL till today for me.
