How much flexibility does the FEAR SDK offer? Is it possible to create a mod that provides text of dialog and sound effects to pop up on the screen when a sound is played? Like the Doom3 mod (http://gamescc.rbkdesign.com)? So far, it seems like the SDK is very limited, you can change values for weapons or other hud elements, but does it allow access to any c++ code? Most games do offer some level of Sub-titles (text of dialog) but except for Zork: Grand Inquisitor, Half-Life 2 and Doom3, no other game offers text descriptions of sound effects. That is what closed captioning provides in addition to text of dialog and it's something I feel is important that games include as an option.
