I sure hope you meant it, cause I'm back!
I sure hope you meant it, cause I'm back!
Thank you! Sorry so late! I could've sworn I'd responded a long time ago.
Perhaps today IS a good day to die!
Missed the deadline for 2017 submissions, but maybe 2018 ;}
Definitely just an option! The original vision for the game was always third-person, but it really does seem to feel good both ways. I find myself switching back and forth depending on the situation.
Lol it's sideways. Don't even care.
Let me know what you think! =]
Glad you're excited! Let me know how you enjoy it and if you have any feedback/suggestions for the new version.
Thank you! It is definitely a difficult process, but so rewarding! I wish you luck as well, my friend. =]
I hope so! Fun, challenging, and occasionally hilarious. That's what I'm going for. ;]
Thank you! =] I'll definitely try to remember to play your game in December this year! I love stockpiling Christmas-themed games and movies etc. and soaking it all in during that time of year. Makes me feel all warm n fuzzy! Admittedly I am always warm and fuzzy, because I live in Texas and I am a fairly hairy dude. ;D
YOU WILL HAS!
The last gifs are all from recordings of bots. The AI is ridiculous now on these tougher tracks... I can barely keep up with them on the highest skill setting. I've created a monster! Jousting is different story lol.. They are still kind-of terrible at it right now.
Oh, btw all of the music is implemented and in-game, I just need to add a few instruments to some songs and mix everything down. Really excited and glad I decided to scrap what I'd done before.
Lol So sorry! 'twas not my intention! ;D
Really close to being done, though. Will be commencing the Greenlight campaign along with this release, so I'm getting all prepped for both. =]
Lol yeah, I definitely won't be releasing tomorrow. And this time when my HILARIOUS wife texts me about a disaster to make me freak out at work, I SWEAR I'm gonna remember what day it is. =P
Hey! Yeah, they definitely will have different specs/handling and will be somewhat tune-able to the player's preferences. However, for 0.0.2 the bikes and suits are just selected randomly along with the colors, and all the bikes handle the same. Mostly it was to get the system implemented and show that there will be a variety of bikes and suits available in the final game.
Yes, definitely! If there isn't too much going on this weekend, I should be able to finish it within the next few days. That's my goal. I'm excited! The change-log is HUUUUUGE lol
Hey, thank you so much! I think B-12 is in sort of a weird niche where it will take a long time for its audience to discover it. Hopefully that does happen in time, but it's a passion project so I'll finish it either way. ;]
P.S. I just uploaded a new alpha with better platforming feel, difficulty settings, secondary weapons, and some other tweaks/changes.
does it look more like a crayon or a sidewalk chalk?
Hello everyone (if you happen to see this). This game is very much still alive! Actual news update soon, followed by a new alpha that is just about done. Lots of improvements and additions!
Awesome! Much appreciated. I'm working on adding secondary weapons, difficulty settings, and some other improvements for 0.0.2. All of that's just about done, so I'll probably wait until then to send you a build. Do you prefer playing with mouse/kb or gamepad? The default mappings are for an xbox controller and/or mouse/kb, but I know the xbox axis numbers are completely different on Linux.
Hello booman, this is the Windows build but Linux will definitely have a build available as soon as possible. Right now I have no way to test it, so I'd feel nervous putting up a build that might not work as it should. If you' like to PM me your email address I can make sure to update you when a Linux build is available. Or possibly I can send you a test build to try out on your machine.
NED! RYERSON!
This looks incredible.
*See image description. ;]
=P Guess I should come up with nicknames for them at some point.
Hello and thanks! I'm happy to say that things are progressing rapidly. My personal deadline for a beta launch and Steam Greenlight is November 16, but that is not 100% firm. Trying to get the game at least 70-80% done by that time.
Don't worry! There will be a skill/difficulty setting for the bots in 0.0.2. I don't want to be THAT cruel...
Steam/Greenlight will probably happen somewhere down the line... Maybe once I get the bike/rider customization in-place, which should be in 0.0.3.
Man, that suuuuuucks! D= My condolences for sure. No backup at all? I back up all the HJ project files every two weeks or thereabouts. Sometimes I throw an extra one in if I've had a couple of extra productive days that I don't want to risk losing.
